Australian young people 18-30 age group are invited to become columnists in Christian Today Australia.
The young writer program is coordinated by Press Service International which has been running since 2009.
It is writing ‘Comment’ – on any subject that interests the writer – it is not writing sermons or devotionals. It is your take on a Christian subject.
There are annual awards with panellists who mark the articles and announced in September each year by a video awards run by Russell Modlin and Rebecca Moore.
There are current Australian young writers from
- Ocean Shores
- Gold Coast
- Sunshine Coast
How it works
Australian young writers 18-30 years are placed in Week 2 of each five week Cycle. This is an article once every 5 weeks. The Style Guide how to set put your article is provided,
The Week 2 Australian coordinators who send out the due date reminders are Roydon Ng in Sydney and Elise Pappas on the Sunshine Coast.
The editor for the Australian young writers is professional freelance writer Justin Sayson. The photo selectors are Michael Dahlenburg (Adelaide) and Jo Fuller (Cooroy, Qld).
The articles are published in Christian Today Australia, New Zealand and UK.
Each day the articles are sent to Australian Christian medias, New Zealand Christian media and an international Christian media data base.
In 2019 the young writer program awarded the ‘Gutenberg’ the premier annual award of the Australasian Religious Press Association (like the Golden Logies for Christian print media)
