United overcome Gallant Crawley!!
FA Cup 5th round tie were played over the weekend and Crowley's day out at Old Trafford was unlucky not to be rewarded with a replay. United did have a few players missing however only an early header from Brown was enough to see United through to the quarter finals. Crawley battled bravely and were unlucky as they went in search of a goal. After the game manager Ferguson said Crawley could have easily come away with a draw and were a little unlucky.

Rooney Wins Derby!!
Wayne Rooney single handedly silenced United's noisy rivals with a sublime overhead volley to give United a 2-1 win at Old Trafford. City came into the match needing all 3 points and started brightly. United however scored first with Nani controlling brilliantly before slotting home to give United the lead. The 2nd half started like the first and City then levelled before Rooney pulled something special out as he scored his best goal of his career.
