I listened to a sermon some years ago where the many and various names of God and Jesus were mentioned. But while considering those names, the scripture in Acts chapter 4, verse 12 kept coming to mind, which says:
"...for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." (Acts chapter 4, verse 12)
There are some sects of the Christians Church who insist on the correctness of the name of God, and there are many names by which the Lord is known. But there is only one name by which salvation is possible. The name of Jesus.
If we are seeking salvation, then it is by the name of Jesus. All of the other names have meaning in their different circumstances and situations, but the name of Jesus is the one situation and circumstance by which we will be saved.
The basis of this song is to identify and show that point.
