Delma Tronson has done crochet for years. Look up Google and you will find many hundreds of entries for crochet.
We were one time some years back at a community meeting in Bloomsbury (Bruce Hwy – turn off for Laguna Quays Respite) and the local Mackay Council Counsellor noted Delma doing crochet and tatting,
“The last time I saw someone doing crochet and tatting was my grandmother and that was many years ago” complimented the Councillor.
Delma Tronson has taught many ladies how to Crochet. It is an art form and Delma enjoys it very much. Her late mum taught her to do Crochet. “She had a lot of patience on her part as it takes a while to get the hang of it”.
Crochet is not Tatting which is more decorative and Delma does lots of Tatting also.
