Beyonce's little sis, Solange Knowles, says she's not too worried about the tax lien amounting $55,000.
The musician, who apparently owes the state of California taxes amounting $55,000 for failure to pay taxes between 2010 to 2012, isn't too upset about the news, saying that she has always been responsible about her finances. She notes that the whole thing is nothing more than a misunderstanding given that she lives in New Orleans.
Reports add that the whole thing is now in the process of being sorted out.
In a statement issued by her official rep:
"The lien is in process of being removed as there was simply confusion on whether Solange was a California resident. We expect this to come to a swift close.''
The musician has recently fielded speculations regarding her finances after it was rumoured that her honeymoon was paid for by older sister, Beyonce; to which her reps said:
''Reports that Beyoncé paid for Solange's honeymoon with Alan Ferguson are false. There is no truth to this. Solange and Alan paid for their honeymoon themselves. They did not receive any compensation of any kind.''
