Fox Network's Scream Queens is one of those incredibly rare TV shows that have an extremely successful first run, and return pretty quickly for their second season without torturing their fans with long intervals. The popular show has a premiere date set for September 20 this year. And the recently released trailer, which can be found on YouTube, has one obvious spoiler.
As iTech Post explains, the second season begins after a three year time jump. The former Kappa Kappa Tau sisters are employed at a hospital, which is where the storyline for the new season is set to take place. And oh, Lea Michele is seen flashing a Hannibal Lecter mask! So it turns out that Michele is 'Hannibal Hester,' as University Herald dubbed the character.
And there's another, quite contradictory, surprise. An article on the Daily Mail splashed the web with a series of photographs that show Emma Roberts on the sets of the TV series. And she's dressed in a gorgeous lace wedding dress, complete with the veil. An accompanying production assistant helped her protect the dress's train from being ruined. Well, well, what does this mean? Is Chanel getting married this season? And if she is, who's the lucky guy?
Emma Roberts teased fans with a little titbit; Oberlin's likely to fall in love with either Dr. Cassidy Cascade, played by Taylor Lautner of Twilight fame, or Dr. Brock Holt, portrayed by John Stamos. The trailer features a kiss, about which Roberts admitted in an interview with Access Hollywood, "John [Stamos] and Taylor [Lautner] are doctors and they also play some of our love interests. There's been some kissing happening, which has been fun. And yeah, we love having them."
Is it Dr. Cascade she marries? She appears to be getting it on with him in the trailer, after all. But then again, what if it's Dr. Holt? Or what if she doesn't end up making the transition to wifedom? We'll have to wait and watch this September to find out.
