Evidently, Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow have nothing on Kate Hudson and Matthew Bellamy when it comes to being friendly with the ex.
With the consciously uncoupled couple, Coldplay front man Martin and Oscar winner Paltrow continue to be chummy in spite of their separation as told by Paltrow in recent interview, this other rockstar/actress breakup is proving that Hollywood uncoupling doesn't have to be a messy affair off camera.
Recently, the Academy Award nominee and the Muse front man were spotted grocery shopping in Brentwood California, only a few weeks after they announced they were breaking off their engagement. The two were seen pushing their grocery carts side by side and were all smiles. At one point, onlookers even noted how Hudson would end up laughing at something that Bellamy was saying.
So not only are the two civil, it seems that their announcement of an amicable breakup was legit—in fact, it obviously seems that they still enjoy each other's company.
After four years together, the couple called it quits but assured fans that remain close friends and committed co-parents. The two joined Hudson's parents, Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russel, in Aspen Colorado to spend the holidays with their children. The 'Almost Famous' star apparently didn't have her engagement ring on when she went for a coffee run with the musician.
The couple are parents to Bigham Bellamy. Hudson also has a 10 year old son, Ryder, from her first marriage to Chris Robinson.
