With a Federal Election not far away the Australian Governments (Federal and State) and the Oppositions’ - along with the chattering classes - I was pondering these 'new deal' and re-branding FDR's 1933-37  - 'New Deal'  - in America and therefore is it a proper course to compare one with the other..
