To church or not to church? That isn’t even a question

Recently, I saw an article by Fox saying that the new movement of church is going to be “virtual church.” The idea is that people will connect on a social media platform and watch church from the comfort of their own homes. Everything else in the world is going virtual so of course the church needs to follow suit, because, the church needs to be on the cutting edge of everything to stay relevant, right?

The gospel literally changed the world. It has shaped nations, given hope to millions and is tangibly seen in the lives of people today. This gospel story has driven massive social campaigns, such as Wilberforce’s abolition of slavery. It has been the motivation for starting organizations, such as World Vision, the RSPCA and theworkers unions.

Balancing Act

It was Mothers’ Day of 2017, and while that day is usually a happy day for most, there are a few that find this day extremely painful. On a routine visit to the supermarket, all the polite men seemed to find joy in wishing me a ‘Happy Mothers’ Day!’
