Have you ever felt left out and rejected? Have you ever had a friend who you thought was a really close one, until you realise you weren’t invited to one of their recent parties?Have you ever been scrolling through Facebook or instagram and seen a few friends out and you weren’t invited?.

Raising money is a spiritual activity
One of my roles as the Queensland State Representative for Baptist World Aid Australia is to raise money for our work. Even as I type, I can hear the pastors among us gasp at the thought of having to speak about money in every sermon, but actually, I really enjoy my role of fundraising within churches. I think raising money can be a tangible, and exciting spiritual activity.

Confident
The other day my work colleague asked me if I was confident in making coffee’s. (holler I’ve probably made a proper coffee twice in my life). I said ‘Sure!’. He looked at me confused, knowing full well I didn’t know how to use a coffee machine. ‘You can be confident at anything, doesn’t mean you know what you’re doing.’
