Walking through the conference centre foyer, I made my way to the barista and ordered a soy latte. Dairy gives me headaches. Actually, overworking gives me headaches. I knew what I needed. And I knew what was coming:.

    I recall as news comes of the death of Miep Gies at aged 100, we remember stories of sacrifice of individual citizens who helped Jewish families in Europe during World War II. Miep was the (then) young woman who helped the Frank family and friends in hiding for not two weeks not two months but two long years from 1942 to 1944.

The fact that you read it enough to get it in the hot news list and then the most popular list  encouraged me that it still resonated with you and thus was worth writing.
