Religious Charities positive aid distribution

Religious Charities positive aid distribution

These past two months have been filled with secular news media dealing with a multitude of stories associated with secular aid charities and their distribution of aid monies or lack thereof..

  • Marriage isn’t the answer

Being a young single in the church is hard. I can’t speak for any other single people, but a lot of my conversations revolve around my getting married – or, my lack thereof.

  • Willing yet weary

I am a 25 year old often feeling like I’m trapped in an 80 year old’s body. This is largely due to my lack of exercise and sedentary lifestyle, but it’s also coupled with the fact that I battle with genuinely wanting to do nothing, all the time.

  • How can we feel safe?

Over January, the news and my Facebook feed have been full of stories related to the bushfires, but these stories have now slowed to a dribble as people’s interest has moved on to other things.

  • An Insidious Enemy

It’s all around us. The young guy in his room on his device. The talk show host casually endorsing it on his show.

  • Cadbury's grand daughter and the Christian connection

Helen Cadbury was only twelve when she went with her father, Richard Cadbury, and sat at the back of the hall watching the volunteers talking with the people coming into the hall from the local neighbourhood.

  • Mixed bag of railway - General MacArthur

I am not usually fooled by questions relating to the history of railways, but someone asked me these two "trivia" questions, and I did not, at first, get them right.

  • Closing the gap must become government priority

Last night I sat down and watched the opening to the NRL Indigenous All Stars v Maori All Stars. Take 7 ½ minutes out of your day and watch the spine tingling opening to the match.

  • A Jesus response to Coronavirus

Contrary to what people have heard through the media that Coronavirus is an unstoppable force, God is telling us it will be eradicated by people of faith through prayer.

  • AAP closes after 85 years

26 June - AAP - Australian Associated Press closes  -  the word closes needs to be in big print - AAP to CLOSE 26 June

  • Serving from a wheelchair

For most of my teenage years, I felt like I wasn't serving in my local church. I even thought that I couldn't serve in any of the ministry team. I didn't know what skills I had that could be used in a ministry team.

  • Trapped

I had to vacate an old office space at short notice this week. This’ll be easy, I thought. I’ll just pop in this afternoon, put everything into a box and take it to my car.
