I know what may possibly come to mind hearing such a topic: a famous song by English song writer Ed Sheeran, whose single peaked to number one status on the charts in the UK in Late 2014; smooth and mellow lyrics complemented by the guitars introspective tones. Close enough.

“How to Life”
We were recently privileged to hear Jordan Whitmer, of the “How to Life” movement, speak at our church. He made three key points which I thought are worth sharing with you. You may listen to the podcast here if you wish, but I will just give you a taste and some comments on what he said.

I often find myself writing about our pet goat. It’s not that I’m particularly fond of him—the Lord knows how many times I’ve had to chase that goat away from my roses and the neighbour’s garden when he escapes! He can be very infuriating, and threats of goat curry often enter my conversations at these times (though I never would).

It was about three Christmases ago and I was visiting my family in Brewster, New York, which is a suburban village about anhour’s drive to the Triborough area. On specific occasions or long journeys, my cousin’s husband would use the global positioning system (GPS)to map unfamiliar destinations.
