I turned 69 – yes, 32 days ago -  as the Footplate Padre, I have taken the liberty to put pen to paper all about the Sunlander. It had its last run in 2014 – six years ago. This famous Queensland Railways sleeper train ran from Brisbane to Cairns..

    Christmas time really is the most wonderful time of the year. \'Tis the season to be jolly, eat a little too much, drink a little too much, party, have fun and enjoy yourself, and why not? We have good reason to be happy.

  • What can suffering accomplish?

    Embracing suffering has to be one of the most contrasting elements of our faith compared with the secular. For the secular sufferer, pain is something to be ignored, suppressed, dulled, removed, shirked.
