Fast freighters through the suburbs

Fast freighters through the suburbs

One of the articles I wrote as Footplate Padre for the On Track railway e-magazine was driving a freight train from Port Kembla to Sydney's Enfield good's yard..

  • Saving santa

I’m not a fan of the commercialisation of Christmas. I try to remind fellow believers that Jesus is the reason for the season. There was a time I wanted nothing to do with many of the trappings of Christmas. I didn’t have stockings, I didn’t have a tree and I certainly didn’t have Santa Claus.

  • Embrace the new!

Recently I was standing at the beach, right on the shoreline. It was a beautiful but cloudy day, the seas were rough and as I stood there I watched the waves as they rolled in and crashed right near me. There were rips, and the waves rolled in inconsistently.

  • Writing your COVID worries away

  • Absolute Surrender

Many of us have probably sung or spoken the words "I surrender all to you" at one or more times throughout our walk.

  • A cloud of witness

As the created, we all have a story to be told about our Creator, which makes it the unique witness of God’s imprint in our lives. As a young Christian, I’m blessed to be surrounded by many faithful witnesses. Every one of them has inspired me in different ways with their personal stories.

  • Rowland Croucher’s Best Chapter – Part 2

Yesterday I concluded with a question  -  Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath

  • Job’s enlightenment

We all go through some form of Job’s experience, but do we get Job’s enlightenment?

  • Lionheart or Fuddy-Duddy

A Minister of Religion gets asked many questions. He is supposed to be modest in response and not be outrageous or volatile, and so when asked a question, the answer should seemingly be sensible and even galvanising.
