    My travels around the world introduced me to Christian tourism. Christian tourism is as old as the pilgrimages from the west to the Holy Land from the seventh century and it became something of a coming of age encounter as those of holy orders and of a mature commitment to Christ took sometimes a full year out to travel, usually by foot.
