Mythbusters head to Australia for 'Behind The Myths' tour; dates and venue locations

Mythbusters duo, Jamie Hyneman and Adam Savage will head down under in August later this year for their first ever Australian tour, kicking off in Melbourne.

The co-hosts of the Emmy-nominated SBS series 'Mythbusters' promise fans an array of on-stage experiments with a chance for audiences to participate, rocking videos and behind-the-scenes stories.

Mythbusters is a science-based entertainment program created and produced by Australia's Beyond Television Production for the Discovery Channel, in which the hosts scientifically test rumours, myths, movie scenes, Internet videos, and news stories.

The long running show is currently in its 12th season.

Saturday 16 August (2:00PM, 7:30PM) - Plenary, Melbourne

Wednesday 20 August (7:30PM) - Adelaide Entertainment Centre

Saturday 23 August (2:00PM, 7:30PM) - Qantas Credit Union Arena (Sydney Entertainment Centre)

Wednesday 27 August (7:30PM) - Perth Arena

Saturday 30 August (2:00PM, 7:30PM) - Brisbane Convention Centre
