Metro Church Brisbane will again be serving a traditional Christmas dinner for the homeless and those in need this Christmas.
"We have found the demand for our services has increased this Christmas already," said Pastor Paul Geerling, Senior Minister – Metro Church Brisbane.
"Rising interest rates has caused a sharp increase in young families requesting presents and hampers.
"We normally have 150 people attend the Christmas dinner but we are now catering for over 200 to attend," Ps Geerling said.
The dinner is on Tuesday 21st December starting at 6pm. Mostly homeless people, those from boarding houses and hostels attend or simply those who can't afford to give their families a nice Christmas. A Christmas Roast will be served, live Christmas Carols, a program for the kids and a special visit from Santa Claus.
Each person will also receive a Christmas present.
Tuesday December 21, commencing at 6pm.
166 Sydney St New Farm.
